We Were There, Too: Minorities in WWII
Fee: $120.00

Offered by: The National Day Memorial
Program Description:
Often times, we forget about the role of women, African Americans, and Native Americans in World War II in the wake of the grand battles fought by predominately white men. However, everyone worked towards the same goal—Victory! Through this class, students will learn about the role of minorities in World War II through oral history from minority WWII veterans, interaction with artifacts, and engaging activities and discussion.
